Moncton speedskater takes bronze in Milan

Courtney Sarault has a second Olympic medal.

The Moncton short-track speedskater made a big comeback in the women’s 500-metre short track event Thursday to capture bronze.

Xandra Velzeboer of the Netherlands took the gold, while Italy’s Arianna Fontana claimed silver on home ice.

For Sarault, the bronze pairs with her silver medal from the mixed relay event earlier in the Games.

Canada’s Kim Boutin finished fifth in the final.

The medal gives Canada seven for the Games, three silver and four bronze.
