New Brunswick’s latest fuel update brought another round of increases.
The Energy and Utilities Board made its price adjustments overnight.
The maximum cost of regular self‑serve fuel rose by two cents a litre to $1.38.
Diesel saw the biggest move, climbing nine cents a litre to a new maximum of $1.85.
Furnace oil is also up, increasing three cents a litre to $1.77.
In Nova Scotia, regular self-serve ranges from $1.34 to $1.38 per litre, while diesel is selling for between $1.79 and $1.83 per litre.
On Prince Edward Island, the price for regular self-serve is around $1.45 per litre, diesel costs around $1.86 per litre, and home heating oil is selling for a maximum of $1.29 per litre.
The New Brunswick Energy and Utilities Board adjusts prices every Friday at 12:01 a.m.
