Overnight parking ban continues city‑wide

An overnight parking ban remains in effect across Moncton, with the city saying on‑street parking is not permitted in Zone 1 between midnight and 7 a.m.

The ban applies city‑wide, including the downtown area and the hospital district.

Restrictions will remain in place until further notice to support winter operations.

The city added that its Moncton Alerts Dashboard will be updated once the ban is lifted.

The ban comes as Environment Canada maintains a snowfall warning for southern New Brunswick, including Moncton.

Residents are being asked to move their vehicles off the street overnight to help crews clear snow safely and efficiently.
