I’ve been thinking a lot about this lately. Unlocking Business Brilliance is doing well, I already have two books, and the big show continues to be strong. Hypnosis has opened incredible doors for me and I’m grateful for that. But if I’m being honest with myself, I’ve noticed something important: I’ve been choosing comfort.
Not because I’m lazy. Not because I lack ambition. And definitely not because I don’t care. It’s because comfort is incredibly persuasive. The tricky part is that comfort doesn’t show up as fear. It doesn’t wave a red flag or tell you to stop. It shows up dressed as logic. It sounds responsible. It sounds polished. It tells you things like, “This is working,” “You’re good where you are,” or “Why mess with what’s already good?” And on paper, all of that makes sense.
But comfort rarely asks if something could be better. It only asks if it’s acceptable. And acceptable is a very convincing standard, especially when things are already going well.
Lately, I’ve been feeling the pull to do more than just a big show and more than just hypnosis. I want to create work that nudges people, work that makes you pause, think a little deeper, and realize you’re capable of more than you might be settling for.
So if you’re reading this, consider it a nudge. Start the project. Go after the promotion. Have the conversation. Make the move you’ve been thinking about.
Let me ask you, are you choosing what’s comfortable or what you’re capable of?
