Some of us are paying less to fuel up heading into the weekend.
The new maximum price for regular self-serve gasoline is $1.49 per litre.
That is down just under one cent after the weekly setting by the provincial regulator.
However, diesel prices have climbed just over a cent to a new maximum of $1.54 per litre.
Most local stations are selling both fuels for a few cents less.
The price of heating oil climbed by just over two cents to a maximum of $1.44 per litre.
The most you are now paying for propane is $1.03 per litre, an increase of around half a cent.
In Nova Scotia, regular self-serve ranges from $1.48 to $1.53 per litre, while diesel is selling for between $1.51 and $1.55 per litre.
On Prince Edward Island, the price for regular self-serve is around $1.53 per litre, diesel costs around $1.57 per litre, and home heating oil is selling for a maximum of $1.17 per litre.
The New Brunswick Energy and Utilities Board adjusts prices every Friday at 12:01 a.m.
