Help name the new all wheels park in Riverview

The Town of Riverview needs help to name the new All Wheels Park.

It’s located next to the future home of the Riverview Recreation Complex at the corner of Runneymeade Road and Bridgedale Boulevard roundabout.

It’ll be a home for skateboards, bikes, rollerblades and even wheelchairs.

Submissions will be reviewed in September, but there are a few guidelines the public must consider when coming up with a name.

They must be inclusive and family-friendly, and cannot be a personal or individual’s name. The Town is ideally looking for something that is two to four words long, and reflects a theme of community, active movement, youth and nature.

A review panel will narrow the list to the top 3, and the public will then be invited to cast a vote for their favourite.

The winning name will be announced in November.
