Riverview Fire and Rescue battle deck fire at Harmony Drive home

A fire damaged a deck and the back wall of a Riverview home.

Riverview Fire and Rescue Deputy Chief Geoff Fisher says crews were called to the Harmony Drive home at around 430 p.m. on Friday afternoon.

The fire was partially put out when they arrived, but firefighters worked to extinguish the remaining flames and hotspots.

Damage was isolated to the back deck and the back wall.

Fisher says the residents will be able to stay in the home.

There’s no word yet on what caused the fire.
