A bit of relief for residents in the Lavilette region.
An evacuation advisory for that region has now been lifted.
According to the province, as of 11:15 am Sunday morning, there were 34 active wildfires burning.
Seven of those fires are out of control.
The Oldfield Road fire in the Miramichi area has consumed over 1400 hectares.
The Department of Natural Resources says there is some rain in the forecast but the risk of wildfires remains high.
