RCMP seek witnesses after assault in Moncton

The Codiac Regional RCMP is asking for the public’s help after a man was found seriously injured in a Moncton parking lot.

Police responded to a report of a man lying off 6th Street around 1:33 p.m. yesterday.

Officers say the injuries are consistent with an assault. The man was taken to the hospital and remains under medical care.

Investigators are trying to determine the cause of the incident and are asking anyone who may have witnessed it or has video footage to contact them.

That includes residents or drivers who were in the area and may have dash cam or security camera recordings.

Anyone with information can reach the Codiac Regional RCMP at 506-857-2400.
