Water transmission line leak in Moncton

Residents in Greater Moncton may experience dirty water or reduced water pressure.

The City of Moncton said it is dealing with a leak on one of its water transmission lines.

“At this time, there is not an estimated timeline or known duration for when the issue will be resolved,” the city said in a news release Tuesday afternoon.

Officials said the leak could also impact residents in Dieppe and Riverview.

No boil water advisories are in effect at this time, and there are no restrictions on tap water usage.
