Fuel prices expected to shift a bit in N.B.

New Brunswickers may see a small shift in fuel prices, according to an industry source.

Regular self-serve gasoline is expected to rise by more than one cent per litre, while diesel looks to drop by less than one cent Thursday night.

Maximum prices in the province currently range from $1.44 for regular self-serve and $1.58 for diesel.

In Nova Scotia, regular self-serve ranges from $1.43 to $1.47 per litre while diesel is selling for between $1.58 and $1.62 per litre.

On Prince Edward Island, the price for regular self-serve is around $1.48 per litre, diesel costs around $1.64 per litre, and home heating oil is selling for a maximum of $1.21 per litre.

The New Brunswick Energy and Utilities Board adjusts prices every Friday at 12:01 a.m.
