Fire in Moncton home leaves 11 displaced

Several men have been displaced after a fire in a residence that housed a local recovery program.

Founding Director of ShekinahGo, Cal Maskery, took to social media last night during the blaze.

It was in a building at Lester and Mountain Road that had been renovated to include numerous rooms.

Maskery stated that 11 men were staying there.

It’s believed only one person was in the residence when the fire was reported.

The rear of the building appears to be extensively damaged, but there’s no word on the condition of the inside.

We have calls out to the Moncton Fire for more information.
