Contraband and other items seized from Dorchester Penitentiary

A seizure of drugs and other items from the perimeter of the Dorchester Penitentiary.

On June 2, the Correctional Service of Canada discovered a package with contraband items including meth, marijuana, nicotine patches, shatter and tobacco with a value of over $534,000.

An investigation is underway by police and the institution.

There have been no arrests yet.
