Riverview man found guilty of manslaughter in 2023 death

A Riverview man has been found guilty of manslaughter in connection with a death in 2023.

Fifty-year-old Michael Thomas Glaspy will be sentenced on August 13 for the death of Rodney Frenette.

Glaspy was found guilty on Wednesday by a jury in the Court of King’s Bench.

An assault on March 4, 2023, on Casino Drive in Moncton left 56-year-old Frenette seriously injured.

He was taken to the hospital, where he later died.
