RCMP say a missing 70-year-old woman from Taylor Village, near Dorchester, has been found dead.
Ann Cafferty was last spoken to on Monday around 10 a.m. and was reported missing on Tuesday.
A search began after investigators believed she may have left her home near the 1200 block of Taylor Road on foot.
Officers, ground search and rescue teams, along with Police Dog Services, assisted in searching the area for any signs of her.
Mounties said that they do not believe her death to be suspicious.
Authorities have not released any further details about how or where she was found.
