Atlantic First Responders Mental Health Conference underway in Moncton

A first-of-its-kind conference is being held in Moncton.

The Atlantic First Responders Mental Health Conference has brought together a diverse audience, including healthcare professionals, peer support organizations and emergency responders.

Guest speakers include Peter MacKay, who is the Vice-Chair for Wounded Warriors Canada, and a former federal Cabinet Minister, and Angela Gevaudan, who is an Ambassador for Wounded Warriors Canada. Her husband died tragically on June 4, 2014, when three RCMP officers were shot in Moncton.

Those attending are learning more about ways to enhance well-being and mental health.

The two-day conference was planned for June 2 and 3 at the Delta Beausejour hotel.
