Mounties say a teen has been charged in a fatal crash on Campobello Island more than a year ago.
The single-vehicle crash happened along Highway 774 in Wilsons Beach on March 22, 2024.
At the time, RCMP said the 17-year-old passenger in the vehicle died at the scene from their injuries.
The driver, who was the only other person in the vehicle, was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
A 15-year-old has since been charged with operating a motor vehicle while impaired causing death and dangerous operation of a motor vehicle causing death.
The teen, who cannot be identified under the Youth Criminal Justice Act, is scheduled to appear in court in June.
