N.B. fuel prices down due to interrupter clause

It’s like a roller coaster ride for gas prices in New Brunswick.

Down, up and then down again in one week.

The interrupter clause kicked in overnight, which means fuel prices are back down again.

The maximum for regular self-serve dipped 8.9 cents a litre to around $1.40.

Diesel is also down, sitting at a maximum of around $1.53, decreasing by 7.6 cents a litre.

Furnace oil prices also took another tumble, this time by 7.6 cents. The maximum is currently around $1.42.

The changes were made overnight by the Energy and Utilities Board.
