Big dips for gas as carbon prices removed

No, this isn’t an April Fool’s Joke — gas prices really did go down overnight in New Brunswick.

The carbon price paid by consumers on fuel products has now been set at zero.

The maximum cost for regular self-serve is sitting at around $1.44 this morning, that’s a drop of 20.2 cents a litre.

Diesel also decreased by 24.6 cents to around $1.61.
