Motorists paying more for fuel this week in N.B.

Prices are up across the board for fuel this week.

The Energy and Utilities Board made its weekly price adjustments overnight.

The maximum cost for regular gas is up 4.1 cents to around $1.64 this morning.

Diesel and furnace oil are also up by 3.0 cents a litre.

The maximum for diesel is around $1.86, and for furnace oil, it is at around $1.50.

In Nova Scotia, regular self-serve ranges from $1.63 to $1.68 per litre while diesel is selling for between $1.81 and $1.85 per litre.

On Prince Edward Island, the price for regular self-serve is around $1.69 per litre, diesel costs around $1.90 per litre and home heating oil is selling for a maximum of $1.23 per litre.

The New Brunswick Energy and Utilities Board adjusts prices every Friday at 12:01 a.m.
