RCMP dog passes away suddenly

Sad news out of the Codiac RCMP.

It has lost one of its dedicated officers.

Police Dog Raptor, who was born in 2022, passed away suddenly at home on February 4.

He was two years old and was teamed with Constable Phil Presseau.

Raptor began serving the Codiac and Southeast Districts in September last year, after completing his police dog training in Alberta.

RCMP Inspector Jonathan White says he will be sadly missed.
