Bus delays for school districts across N.B.

Due to bad road conditions and high winds, several school districts in New Brunswick are experiencing bus delays and closures.

School buses in the Anglophone South, Francophone South, and Anglophone East school districts are running one hour late Friday morning.

Schools will open at the regularly scheduled time.

In the Anglophone West district, there are additional delays:

  • Bus Route 245, which serves Cuffman Street Elementary, Devon Middle, and Leo Hayes High Schools in the morning, and Cuffman Street Elementary and Leo Hayes High Schools in the afternoon, will not operate today due to a shortage of buses.
  • Bus Route 249, which serves Park Street Elementary, Nashwaaksis Middle, and Leo Hayes High Schools, will be 30 minutes late this morning.
  • Bus 388 which serves the Oromocto and Burton areas, will be running 2 hours late this morning.

In the Anglophone North district, schools in the Bathurst, Dalhousie, Campbellton, and Tabusintac areas are closed.

Schools in the Miramichi and Rexton areas will open 2 hours late. No buses will run from Tabusintac to Miramichi on Friday.
