Mark Wilson buys Bay Ferries, Northumberland Ferries

A new owner for two companies that operate ferries in the Maritimes.

Bay Ferries and Northumberland Ferries has been sold to Mark Wilson.

He is the current Chief Executive Officer and President.

The family of the late Mark MacDonald, Danny Bartlett, Don Cormier and Gerry Stevenson completed the sale to Wilson last week.

In a release, Wilson says he’s committed to working with partners to exceed expectations of customers.

Bay Ferries operates the ‘CAT’ ferry from Yarmouth to Maine and the ‘Fundy Rose’ from Digby to Saint John.

Northumberland Ferries runs the route between Nova Scotia and PEI.
