MP Ginette Petitpas Taylor supports Mark Carney for Liberal leadership

Moncton—Riverview—Dieppe MP Ginette Petitpas Taylor is backing Mark Carney for the leadership of the Liberal Party of Canada.

Petitpas Taylor, who is also the president of the treasury board, says Carney’s experience in handling financial crises makes him the right person to tackle issues like affordability, climate change, and U.S. tariffs.

She added that Carney has the skills to guide Canada through these challenges.

“Mark knows how to manage financial storms and understands Canada’s economy,” she said.

“He’s ready to take bold steps to protect our workers, families, and economy.”

Petitpas Taylor also highlighted Carney’s commitment to Canada’s official languages and his vision for a better future.

Liberals across Canada will vote on March 9 to choose their new leader.
