3 arrested after break-in at NB Power property

Three people are facing charges after police say an NB Power property was broke into in Sussex.

RCMP officers responded to a break and enter in progress at the property shortly before 2 a.m. Tuesday.

A man was seen fleeing on foot and a van with two people inside was located behind the building.

Police quickly arrested the two people in the vehicle, a 25-year-old man and an 18-year-old woman from Sussex.

A police dog arrived on the scene shortly after and arrested a 28-year-old man from Sussex Corner.

Mounties said they recovered stolen items from the vehicle and seized a firearm at the time of the arrests.

The three suspects were later released on conditions and will appear in court at a later date.
