Heavy rain and winds for Wednesday and Thursday

If you like the snow, you better enjoy it while it is around this week.

Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement for the province.

Heavy rain is forecasted for Wednesday night and Thursday morning.

Over 25 millimetres are expected with wind gusts to 70 kilometres an hour.

As the temperature rises, residents in Northwestern New Brunswick could see periods of freezing rain.

Some parts of the province could see highs of 12 degrees on Wednesday.
