Rainfall warning for Moncton, southeast N.B.

It’s going to be a damp Saturday.

Environment Canada expecting up to 50 millimetres of rain for Moncton and parts of southeast New Brunswick.

Amounts of 10-15 mm an hour are possible from the morning to evening.

The forecaster says localized flooding is possible in low-lying areas.

Higher than normal water levels are expected along the coastline, which could create minor coastal erosion.
