Holiday Smile Cookie campaign supports local charities, groups

A simple cookie can help local charities and community groups this holiday season.

The annual Holiday Smile Cookie campaign from Tim Hortons returned for its second year on Monday.

All proceeds are donated to local charities and community groups, including Tim Hortons Foundation Camps.

Funds raised at stores in Moncton, Riverview and Dieppe are also supporting the Peter McKee Community Centre, Albert County Action Committee, Second Mile Food Bank and Food Banks of Canada.

Other groups being supported in the region include Salisbury Helping Hands (Salisbury), S.P.O.T. (Petitcodiac), Vestiaire St-Joseph Inc. (Shediac and Cap-Pelé), Le Vestiaire St-Jean Baptiste Food Bank (Saint-Antoine and Bouctouche) and the Sackville Food Bank (Sackville).

The inaugural campaign raised a total of $9.8 million across the country in 2023.

Holiday Smile Cookies will be on sale until Nov. 24. You can find out which charity your restaurant is supporting on the Tim Hortons website.
