Small increase in price for regular gas in N.B.

Fuel prices are up again this week.

But if you need regular gas, you may not notice a different.

The Energy and Utilities Board made its weekly price adjustments Thursday night.

The maximum cost of regular self-serve gas rose just 0.2 cents to a maximum of $1.369.

Diesel and furnace oil saw more significant increases, both jumping 4.2 cents.

The maximum cost for diesel now sits at more than $1.76 per litre.

Furnace oil’s maximum is now at $1.69.

In Nova Scotia, regular self-serve ranges from $1.33 to $1.35 per litre, while diesel is selling for between $1.67 and $1.69 per litre.

On Prince Edward Island, the price for regular self-serve is $1.45 per litre, diesel costs just under $1.80 per litre, and home heating oil is selling for a maximum of about $1.25 per litre.

The New Brunswick Energy and Utilities Board adjusts prices every Friday at 12:01 a.m.
