RCMP seek information after an assault in Moncton

Police are asking for the public’s help after a man was assaulted with a weapon in Moncton.

Officers were called to a parking lot on Archibald Street at 1:40 a.m. on November 19.

Police said three individuals got out of a sedan‑style vehicle, approached a man and assaulted him with a weapon.

The RCMP explained that the suspects left the area before officers arrived.

Police said the man was taken to the hospital with injuries that were not life‑threatening.

Investigators are asking anyone who lives in the area or who may have been nearby at the time to check any security or dash‑cam footage from around the time of the assault.

Anyone with information that could help the investigation can contact the Codiac Regional RCMP at 506‑857‑2400.

Information can also be provided anonymously through Crime Stoppers using secure web tips.
