Major contract awarded for CEPS upgrades

A contract has been awarded for a major construction, renovation and expansion project at Université de Moncton.

CIMA+, which is one of Canada’s largest privately owned engineering consulting firms, will act as the lead for this project.

It’s for a major expansion of the gymnasium and sports complex, otherwise known as the Centre d’éducation physique et des sports or CEPS.

The project is expected to take several years and includes a reconfiguration of the swimming pool, the addition of a new ice rink and indoor athletics stadium, an indoor soccer field, and a modern community centre.

“For our teams, participating in a project of this scope is a source of enthusiasm and commitment. It is extremely motivating to contribute to such an important and transformative project for the Moncton region. This is a unique opportunity to showcase our expertise, alongside committed partners,” stated Joel Vienneau, Senior Project Manager, Buildings, at CIMA+ in New Brunswick.
