RCMP seek help after break‑in at Shediac home

Shediac RCMP are asking for the public’s help after a man forced his way into an occupied home on Christmas Eve.

Officers stated that the break-in occurred on December 24 between 7:30 and 7:40 p.m. at a home on Bellevue Heights.

Police said the individual got inside the home, but nothing was taken.

Mounties have released surveillance photos in the hope that someone may recognize the man or the vehicle seen in the area.

Police describe the vehicle as a dark blue or grey four‑door sedan, possibly a Toyota Corolla.

The man is described as about five feet ten inches (178 centimetres) tall with a medium build, wearing a black coat, grey pants, black running shoes and construction gloves.

Anyone who recognizes the individual or has information that could help the investigation is asked to contact the Shediac RCMP at 506‑533‑5151.

Anonymous information can also be shared through Crime Stoppers by calling 1‑800‑222‑TIPS (8477), using the P3 Mobile App or through Secure Web Tips.
