Live Q and A on Facebook with Riverview Mayor

Riverview Mayor Andrew Leblanc will go live on social media tonight to take questions from residents.

“The prompt was a desire to be able to be open and transparent with residents. I know there’s been a lot happening in 2025, so I think the best way to be informed as an elected official is to make sure that we find as many opportunities as possible to hear directly from residents,” Mayor Leblanc said.

He used to do live Q&A sessions during COVID a lot, but when lockdowns were lifted and in-person events returned, Leblanc got away from that.

“I still do them sporadically. It’s a good opportunity to hear what people think and to answer any questions. Sometimes there are questions on the growth of the town, on public safety and policing, and then we get a little more granular with some of the questions, and they may inquire about when their road is getting fixed or any specifics like that,” Leblanc added.

Questions are not submitted in advance. Residents can just join the Q&A live on Facebook at 7 pm and post their questions in the comments section.
