A longtime partnership between the Rotary Club of Moncton West and Riverview and Ribfest has come to an end.
In a post on social media, the Rotary Club says it is stepping back from the event, due to rising costs and volunteer demands, while returns have declined.
This doesn’t mean there isn’t a future for Ribfest.
The post also states, the City of Moncton and others are diligently working on plans to continue the event on the same weekend, and more details are expected in the coming months.
