Registration deadline approaching for Greater Moncton Santa Claus parade

Santa Claus is coming to Greater Moncton in November.

Time is running out to register your float for this year’s Greater Moncton Santa Claus.

The theme this year is Festival of Lights.

The parade will be held on November 22 at 5 pm in downtown Moncton.

The deadline to register your group to take part in the parade is November 7.

The Greater Moncton Santa Claus parade was founded in 1967 and attracts over 100,000 spectators each year.

In the past, it was known as the largest Santa Claus parade east of Moncton.

A committee of volunteers works all year round to plan and prepare for the parade, which marks the official start to the festive season in Greater Moncton.
