New Brunswickers are being asked to share their ideas on how the province’s Clean Water Act could be improved.
Industry groups, environmental organizations, First Nations and residents are all invited to take part in the review.
“We want to hear a variety of perspectives to ensure the updated legislation has a lasting positive impact for all New Brunswickers,” Environment and Climate Change Minister Gilles LePage said in a government release.
A consultation webpage provides background information, details on the review process and instructions on how to participate. Written submissions will be accepted until November 27.
Residents will also have opportunities to share feedback through in-person and virtual consultation sessions.
