Moncton residents give back to Dumont Hospital

The 29th CHU Dumont Foundation Valentine’s Day Gala has been a success, according to organizers.

A total of 380 attendees, partners and sponsors raised $100,000 that will be invested back into the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre.

Sébastien Dupuis, chair of the foundation’s board of directors, feels grateful for the community support who actively participates in the success of the foundation’s initiatives.

“It is the unconditional support of the community and our partners that allows us to succeed in fulfilling our mandate. This 29th edition is no exception,” said Dupuis.

“The extreme generosity shown by our partners, sponsors and participants will allow us to support other important projects for the many departments of our hospital centre. We are proud to contribute to improving care and health services at the Dumont UHC.”

CHU officials say the Valentine’s Day Gala has helped raise more than $1.6 million since its first edition.
