RHS under hold and secure during RCMP operation

Few details have been released after a hold and secure at Riverview High School on Thursday afternoon.

A letter went out to parents from Anglophone East School District Superintendent Randy MacLEAN stating the procedure was put into place at around 1:30 p.m. due to an RCMP operation in the area.

The hold and secure was lifted at around 2 p.m. and the school resumed normal activities.

During a hold and secure, there is normal activity inside the school, but no one is allowed to enter or exit the building.

No word from RCMP yet with further information.
