Canada Post delivery delays due to weather

Canada Post has issued a delivery service alert for parts of Atlantic Canada due to inclement weather and snow:

  • Red service alert: Prince Edward Island and Nova Scotia
  • Yellow service alert: New Brunswick

A red service alert means Canada Post is suspending delivery for the day and not sending delivery agents out or recalling them.

A yellow alert means Canada Post will do its best to deliver, but there will be delays.

Canada Post said in a statement delivery will resume once conditions improve.

Canada Post also encourages customers to clear the ice from their walkways, stairs, and driveways to ensure safe access to the front door for both their visitors and their mail carriers when service resumes.
