RCMP investigating serious assault on Esgenoopetitj First Nation

The public’s help is needed following a serious assault on Esgenoopetitj First Nation.

On December 29, Neguac RCMP responded to a report that 46-year-old Melissa Tucker had been found with serious injuries in her Dominic Court home, after not being seen for around four days.

An investigation has led police to believe she was assaulted sometime between December 25 and 29th.

Anyone who was in direct contact with or saw Melissa Tucker between December 25 and 29, 2023, is asked to contact the Neguac RCMP at 506-776-3000. Information can also be provided anonymously through Crime Stoppers by calling 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
