Missing boy located in the United States: RCMP

Mounties say a seven-year-old boy who was taken from a Moncton hotel by his mother without consent has been located.

The boy was last seen at a hotel on Main Street in Moncton on Wednesday.

RCMP said he was taken from the hotel by his mother at around 2:15 p.m.

Police said Sunday that the boy was found safe in the United States.

“The Codiac Regional RCMP continues to work with American authorities to further the ongoing investigation,” RCMP said in a news release.
