A new health facility for seniors will open in Dieppe under Vitalité Health Network.
The 8000-square-foot facility, located at 665 Champlain Street, will offer comprehensive assessment and rehabilitation services for people aged 65 and over.
It is scheduled to open in the spring of 2024.
“We had identified the need to coordinate access to a range of services offered by a team dedicated exclusively to senior patients, she explained. Patients will find in a single location a range of care and services necessary to maintain their autonomy and quality of life at home,” said France LeBreton, Director of Eldercare Services.
The Geriatric Health team will include physicians, nurses a physiotherapist, an occupational therapist, a speech-language pathologist and a social worker.
It’s a first of its kind for Vitalité Health Network.
