Arrests in connection with a drug trafficking investigation on Gordon Street in Moncton.
A 47-year-old man, a 32-year-old man and a 38-year-old woman were taken into custody on October 19.
Members of the Codiac Regional RCMP’s Crime Reduction Unit (CRU) observed what was believed to be drug trafficking transactions.

After the arrests, a search of the vehicle and individuals was done, and RCMP seized quantities of what is believed to be fentanyl, crystal methamphetamine, prescription pills, drug trafficking paraphernalia, and money.

A 32-year-old man and a 38-year-old woman were later released, and are scheduled to appear in court at a later date.

On October 20, the 47-year-old man appeared in Moncton Provincial Court and was charged with:

  • Trafficking fentanyl
  • Trafficking methamphetamine
  • Possession for the purpose of trafficking a controlled substance

He was released on conditions and is scheduled to return to court on December 1.

The investigation is ongoing.
