RCMP investigate mischief at Gagetown School

Mounties say they are investigating a case of mischief at a southern New Brunswick school.

The incident happened at Gagetown School between 10:30 p.m. on Sept. 21 and 3:30 a.m. the following day.

Police said all-terrain vehicles were driven through the yard and into the outdoor classroom, damaging the lawn.

A fire was then lit in the outdoor classroom and various items were burnt, including a roof vent ripped off the building.

“Police have followed up on several leads, but have so far been unsuccessful,” Mounties said in a news release on Wednesday.

RCMP are asking anyone who may have information to contact them at 506-357-4300 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
