N.B. man arrested after shooting incident

A 24-year-old man from Coldstream has been arrested after a shooting incident in Cloverdale.

RCMP says shots were fired at around 2:48 pm on August 9 near a construction site.

An Alert Ready message was issued at 4:59 pm for that region, near Hartland advising residents to stay inside and lock their doors.

At 5:16 p.m., police were able to locate and arrest the individual.

An updated Alert Ready message was sent out a short time later advising residents the incident had concluded and they could resume normal activities.
