3 more people charged in Fredericton homicide

Three more people, including two youths, have been charged with manslaughter in a Fredericton homicide.

Officers were called to a report of an assault at the Tannery during the early morning hours of Sept. 22.

Police said a 41-year-old man suffered serious injuries and later died in the hospital. A second victim of the assault was treated for minor injuries.

A 17-year-old was charged with manslaughter in connection with the investigation on Oct. 3.

On Thursday, police announced that an 18-year-old man and two youths, aged 16 and 17, are also facing the same charge.

They were released on conditions and will appear in court at a later date.
