Greater Moncton’s newest pro-basketball team has named its Head Coach.
Rob Spon has been hired to lead the Tri-City Tide during its inaugural season with The Basketball League.
Just three months ago, Spon was named as the head Coach for the Port City Power in Saint John, but reports say the two parties could not agree on a contract and have parted ways.
Spon is no stranger to pro basketball in the Maritimes. He has helped develop talent during his stops in Saint John, Halifax, and Cape Breton.
