Nurse managers, supervisors ratify agreement

More than 250 nurse managers and supervisors have a new contract with the province.

The new agreement with the New Brunswick Nurses Union was ratified by members on Sept. 12.

It includes a wage increase of 12.5 per cent over four years, retroactive to January 2024.

Meanwhile, nearly 9,000 nurses represented by the same union voted to reject their tentative agreement.

Negotiations for them are not expected to resume until after the election on Oct. 21.
