The New Brunswick government has reached a collective agreement with the union that represents specialized professionals and scientific employees in the first part of the public service.
The Professional Institute of the Public Service of Canada serves as the voice for more than 240 specialists in fields such as agriculture, veterinary care, engineering, land surveying and architecture within provincial government agencies.
Both parties have agreed to withhold details of the agreement until it is ratified.
