Charges laid after raid in Riverview

Three people are facing charges following a seizure at an illegal dispensary in Riverview.

On Aug. 2, Justice and Public Safety officers removed numerous items from the L’Nuk Trading Post on Coverdale Road.

They seized:

  • 28,830 cigarettes
  • 7.6 kilograms of dried cannabis
  • 414 grams of hashish
  • 1,409 joints
  • 70 cigars
  • $10,778 in cash
  • 361 edible cannabis products
  • 68 cannabis vapes
  • 49 flavoured vapes

Two women, who are 21 and 31 years old, are now facing charges under the Cannabis and Tobacco Tax Act.

Officers also seized over $26,000 and cannabis products on Tuesday. A 35-year-old man was also arrested on August 13 and is facing charges under the Excise Act and Cannabis Act.
